Carnival Freedom
Carnival Cruise Lines took delivery yesterday of the new 110,000-ton CARNIVAL FREEDOM. The 22nd vessel in our “Fun Ship” fleet.

Following its official naming ceremony in Venice March 4, presided over by godmother Kathy Ireland, Carnival Freedom will sail on its inaugural voyage – a nine-day Mediterranean cruise from Venice departing March 5.

Joe Facus, Carnival's architect, decided to have the Carnival Freedom's theme around the machine throughout time. The public space varies from the time of Babylon, to the Disco era, the Victorian time, as well as the contemporary look of the nineties.   The ship has 1287 cabins, and holds 3783 passengers . The officers are Italian .

The Carnival Freedom begins its inaugural season with 12 day cruises in Europe offering two itineraries either to the Grand Med or Greece & Turkey .
