Brenda Trockstad, former General Manager of WestJet Vacations, recently joined Classic Canadian Tours.

“For me, this new venture introduces a fresh approach to the Canadian travel experience and I look forward to sharing our tour products with travel agents and earning their trust and support,” Trockstad says.

Formed in 2005, Classic Canadian Tours (CCT) is an Alberta-based company founded by Bill Lamberton, a veteran travel industry professional with a background spanning more than 25 years in the travel, tour and airline sectors.

Bill has operated private charters over the past two years, specifically destined to Churchill Manitoba, for polar bear viewing. This year CCT is expanding the marketing focus and will offer the one-day polar bear/tundra buggy tours to the general public The company is also expanding its line of tour offerings this year to provide journeys to the Yukon, the Alberta Oil Sands, the North West Territories and more destinations.

CCT’s package offerings, which include airfare, are geared towards off-the beaten path destinations in Canada. They are a great fit for any age group, but are targeted to meet the demanding lifestyle of the baby boomer, who wants to see and learn about ’out of the ordinary’ parts of Canada on a limited time schedule. The combination of flights, guided tours and best in town hotel stays will ensure that guests are comfortable and able to explore, learn about and love Canada.
