Provençal Resort Renewed After 27-Million Euro Facelift

Club Med Opio in Provence
After extensive renovations costing 27 million euros, Club Med Opio in Provence welcomed its first new guests on March 23. The resort now offers a lighter space, with a wide reception area and long, airy corridors that lead to restaurants.

A subtle blend of beautiful materials, warm colours and extra luxuries and amenities have modernized the accommodations, bathrooms and communal spaces.

The Club Med Spa Passion has been completely renovated, and now features a Roman Bath, plus seven treatment rooms. Aesthetic services and massages are available “À la carte” for a moderate extra charge; access to the sauna and hammam (Turkish bath) are free.

A new outdoor swimming pool has been set in the olive grove, while a new Club Med gym offers a variety of activities for everyone, including “Body Combat” lessons, “Pump Balance”, “Crunch fitness” and yoga.

For the younger set, the new “Baby Club Med” provides personalized facilities for babies from four to 23 months. Older children (up to 18 years) can also enjoy special supervised activities.

The resort also features 31 new meeting rooms.
