New itineraries, spa and wellness programmes in 2008

Costa Cruise’s 2008 brochure details new 16-day cruises in Mauritius and the Seychelles and announces new wellness programmes on Costa Atlantica and Costa Mediterranea.

Starting in May next year, accommodations in wellness cabins or suites with special amenities, a welcome ceremony and a package of spa treatments will be available on the two additional Costa ships, following good demand for the Samsara Spa accommodations on Costa Concordia and Costa Serena.

The new Mauritius-Seychelles itineraries will operate between Christmas and Easter on Costa Marina to destinations that also include Kenya, Madagascar, Mayotte and Reunion.

Starting in March 2008, Costa Magica will make its debut in Naples for a Western Mediterranean itinerary with calls at Palermo, Tunis, Palma, Barcelona, Marseilles and Savona. More cruises to Turkey, Greece and the Aegean Islands will be offered by Costa Serena and Costa Fortuna from Venice, while Costa Classica will depart from Trieste. Lisbon will be featured in the programs of Costa Mediterranea, Costa Europa, Costa Victoria and Costa Classica.

Four ships – Costa Mediterranea, Costa Atlantica, Costa Victoria and Costa Marina – will sail in Northern Europe.

For the first time, three Costa vessels will operate in South America during the austral summer: Costa Magica, Costa Victoria and Costa Classica. As earlier reported, Costa will boost capacity from Dubai with two ships, Costa Romantica and Costa Europa, and the company is now opening Costa Allegra’s China and Asia itineraries to worldwide sales.
