See Chicago’s Greening initiatives in action, and learn why the “City in
a Garden” is becoming known worldwide as a leader in environmental
innovation. Meet city government environmental leaders for cocktails and
a short discussion on greening issues and citywide Earth Day programs at
a private Friday evening reception at the Chicago Cultural Center,
overlooking the country’s largest rooftop garden, the award-winning
Millennium Park.

Visit the Chicago Center for Green Technology to learn how Chicago's new
green building technologies are transforming the city. Afterwards, visit

landscape projects. Following a riverside lunch at Smith & Wollensky,
end the day with a rare, private tour of Chicago City Hall’s Rooftop
Garden. Follow a continental breakfast on Sunday morning with a guided
