Leading
hotel chain also unveils Canadian version
Days Inn has introduced a new logo for its hotel brand. Featuring a friendly modern typeface and bright yellows contrasting with a deep blue, the first new Days Inn logo in 37 years was unveiled to an audience of more than 1,800 Days Inn owners and managers attending the 2007 Days Inns Worldwide international conference in Las Vegas, Nevada last week. A Canadian version of the logo was also unveiled to the contingent of 125 Canadian owners and managers. The Canadian logo adds a red maple leaf and will be used for all purposes other than onsite signage. Days Inns - Canada is one of the country’s leading hotel chains with 87 independently owned and operated properties and over 7,800 rooms. Its franchises cover a wide range of urban, airport and resort properties in primary and secondary markets across Canada. Days Inns - Canada participates in the TripRewards guest reward program and offers points that can be redeemed at a host of retail and travel partners including Aeroplan and Canadian Tire. The new Days Inn logo seeks to convey a warm welcoming and give the brand appeal to a new generation of travellers while preserving the equity of its signature yellow sunburst and original shape. The new logo will be in place on all Days Inns - Canada brand hotels by May 2008. Days Inn Worldwide, Inc. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Wyndham
Hotel Group, one of three principal components of Wyndham Worldwide (NYSE:WYN),
which encompasses more than 6,400 franchised and managed hotels and
