provide domestic and trans-border transport for world’s largest retailer WestJet is now the preferred Canadian airline for Wal-Mart Stores Inc., the world's largest retailer. The preferred supplier relationship with Wal-Mart allows WestJet to provide transportation and group services to all of its business travellers. It also allows WestJet to secure additional revenue and to increase market share within Wal-Mart's domestic and trans-border business. WestJet says it plans to leverage this relationship to appeal to a broad range of corporate business travelers, from local to international organizations who require a low-cost flight coupled with unparalleled service. “Over the past 11 years, our organization has grown into a leading,
national airline carrier,” said Duncan Bureau, WestJet's vice-president
of sales. “As we continue to expand our service reach, we become an
attractive option for many national and multi-national corporations. We
look forward to working with such an iconic institution and providing
them with our exceptional guest experience and our own WestJet welcome
when they board.” |
